Uvalde Methodist Women
 
 
PURPOSE
 
The organized unit of Uvalde Methodist Women shall be a community of women whose PURPOSE is to know God and to experience freedom as whole persons through Jesus Christ; to develop a creative, supportive fellowship; and to expand concepts of mission through participation in the global ministries of the church.
 
MEETINGS
 
The Uvalde Methodist Women meet on the fourth Tuesday of the month with fellowship, food, and informative programs.  Please see the church calendar for times as times will alternate each month between lunch and dinner meetings so that more women may participate.
 
GATHERINGS / EVENTS
 
Craft days are held the last Saturday of the month 10:00 – 12:00 p.m. in Room 102, Christian Life Center.
 
Special events include the annual joint meeting of the Mystery Dinner hosted by Diane Underwood, UMW Sunday, the annual fall bazaar held in November, hosting the fellowship gathering following the Ministerial Alliance-sponsored community Thanksgiving service the third Sunday of November, and the joint UMW Christmas party and Ornament Exchange held the second Tuesday in December.

Meetings
Ladies meet on the last Monday evening of every month at 6:30 p.m. for games and fellowship. The group also meets to make crafts and to prepare casseroles for the annual fall bazaar. Rampage Hockey Night
When scheduled, the ladies will meet and travel to San Antonio to attend a Rampage hockey game.  Please contact Dee Ann Dillahunty for more information.
